Nails by Minnie Policies

Thank you for choosing Nails by Minnie! Every set is handmade with love, care, and attention to detail. Because our products are handmade and many orders are created specifically for you, please take a moment to read our policies before placing your order.

By placing an order with Nails by Minnie, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

1. Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Nails by Minnie, you confirm that you have reviewed the product description, sizing information, processing time, and applicable policies before completing your purchase.

Please make sure your shipping address, email address, nail sizes, and order selections are correct before submitting your order.

Nails by Minnie is not responsible for mistakes made by the customer when entering order information, including incorrect sizing, colors, designs, quantities, or shipping addresses.

We reserve the right to correct obvious errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability and to cancel an order when necessary.

2. Sizing Policy

Choosing the correct nail size is the customer’s responsibility.

Please carefully follow our sizing instructions and double-check your measurements before submitting your order. If you are unsure of your size, we strongly recommend purchasing a sizing kit before ordering a full set.

Because press-on nails are made to the sizes submitted by the customer, incorrect sizing is not considered a defect and does not qualify for a refund or replacement.

If you provide incorrect sizing information, a replacement set may be purchased at the customer’s expense, subject to availability.

Nails by Minnie cannot guarantee a perfect fit if measurements are inaccurate or if a customer chooses a size without properly measuring.

3. Custom Design Policy

We love creating unique sets and bringing your nail ideas to life! 💕 Custom designs may be created from inspiration photos, color palettes, themes, or ideas provided by the customer.

Please understand that handmade artwork may not be an exact replica of an inspiration image. We will make every effort to capture the overall look, colors, and feel of the requested design while maintaining our own artistic style.

Nails by Minnie reserves the right to make reasonable artistic adjustments when necessary to create a quality finished product.

Right to Refuse Designs & Service

At Nails by Minnie, we love bringing your ideas to life! Because every set is handmade with care and creativity, we reserve the right to decline any custom design, artwork, wording, image, or request that we are not comfortable creating, do not offer, or that does not align with our artistic standards, business policies, or personal values.

If we are unable to create a requested design, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible and, when possible, work with you on an alternative.

Refusing a particular design or creative request is not a refusal of service to the customer. Nails by Minnie is committed to treating customers with kindness, fairness, and respect and does not discriminate based on any characteristic protected by applicable law.

​

We also reserve the right to refuse service when permitted by law, including situations involving abusive, threatening, disrespectful, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

4. Shipping & Processing Policy

Because every set is handmade, please allow 5–7 business days for your order to be completed and released to USPS.

This processing time is separate from USPS transit time.

Once your order has been released to USPS, you will receive tracking information when available. USPS delivery times are outside of Nails by Minnie’s control and may vary due to holidays, weather, service delays, or other circumstances.

Please allow the full processing and shipping timeframe before contacting us regarding the status of your order.

If you need an order by a specific date, please contact us before placing your order so we can determine whether we are able to accommodate your timeline.

5. Lost, Stolen & Delivered Packages

Once an order has been shipped and accepted by USPS, Nails by Minnie is no longer responsible for delays caused by the carrier.

​

If tracking shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check with household members, neighbors, your mailbox, leasing office, or other delivery locations.

​

You may also contact your local USPS office to request additional information about the delivery.

Nails by Minnie is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, misdelivered, or damaged after being accepted by USPS.

Please make sure your shipping address is secure and accurate before placing your order.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We carefully inspect each order before it leaves Nails by Minnie.

If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or is missing an item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

​

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the package and product

  • Photos of any visible damage to the shipping package

Do not throw away the packaging until the issue has been resolved, as photos of the original packaging may be necessary.

If the issue is determined to be an error on our part, Nails by Minnie will work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.

7. Returns & Refunds

Because our press-on nails are handmade and may be created specifically according to your selected size, design, and specifications, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable law or the issue qualifies under our Damaged or Incorrect Order Policy.

We do not accept returns or provide refunds due to:

  • Incorrect sizing provided by the customer

  • Change of mind

  • Personal preference

  • Choosing the wrong color or design

  • Failure to review the product description

  • Failure to follow application or care instructions

  • Delays caused by USPS

Custom and personalized orders are final sale.

If you believe your order has a qualifying issue, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the situation.

8. Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change. Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible after placing your order.

Because our products are handmade, orders may enter production quickly.

​

Once an order has entered the production process, we may be unable to cancel or modify the order.

Custom, personalized, or already-completed orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

If you need to request a cancellation or change, please contact Nails by Minnie as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request when possible.

9. Nail Care & Application

Proper application and removal are important for protecting both your press-on nails and your natural nails.

Before applying your nails:

  • Make sure your natural nails are clean, dry, and free of oils.

  • Properly prepare your natural nails according to our application instructions.

  • Select the correct size for each nail.

  • Apply the nails carefully without forcing them into place.

For removal, do not rip, pull, or force the press-on nails off, as this can damage your natural nails.

Follow our recommended removal instructions and take your time.

Nails by Minnie is not responsible for damage to natural nails resulting from improper application, improper removal, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions.

10. Allergy & Product Disclaimer

Some individuals may experience irritation or an allergic reaction to nail products, adhesives, gels, acrylics, or other materials used in the creation or application of press-on nails.

If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please review available product information and ingredients before purchasing.

​

If you experience redness, swelling, itching, burning, pain, or other signs of irritation or an allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical advice if necessary.

Nails by Minnie is not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, irritation, or other reactions resulting from the use of our products.

If you have concerns about a specific ingredient, please contact us before placing your order.

11. Handmade Product & Color Variation Disclaimer

Every Nails by Minnie set is handmade individually. Because of this, slight variations in color, shape, artwork, placement, and finish may occur.

​

These small differences are part of what makes handmade products unique and are not necessarily considered defects. Colors may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography, device settings, or screen resolution. Inspiration photos are used as a reference. Handmade recreations may not be an exact, pixel-for-pixel match to the original image.

We will always do our best to create a beautiful set that matches the requested design and our quality standards. 💕

12. Respect & Right to Refuse Service

Nails by Minnie is committed to providing a positive and respectful experience for our customers.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order or service when permitted by applicable law, including situations involving:

  • Abusive or threatening behavior

  • Harassment or discrimination

  • Repeated disrespectful communication

  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity

  • Repeated violations of our policies

  • Attempts to circumvent our policies

  • Requests that we are unable or unwilling to fulfill

  • Any situation that may compromise the safety or well-being of Nails by Minnie, its customers, or its representatives

We believe in treating everyone with kindness and respect, and we ask that the same courtesy be extended to our small business.
